About Me

I’m Eric Nikolaisen, and I’ve had the joy of sharing 35 incredible years of marriage with my amazing wife, Suzanne Nikolaisen. Together, we have a daughter we are incredibly proud of, though I’ll respect her privacy and won’t go into too much detail about her. I enjoy life’s adventures, whether it’s bike riding, camping with our two beloved dogs, or dedicating our time to Rocky Mountain Dachshund Rescue, where we’ve been volunteers since 2019. Our work with the rescue has been deeply fulfilling, and it’s rewarding to know we’re making a difference for dachshunds in need.

Professionally, I’ve been in the video game industry since 1990, and currently, I work with a fantastic and creative team at Warner Bros Discovery at WB Games Avalanche. I had the pleasure of being part of the development of Hogwarts Legacy, which was released in 2023 on Microsoft Xbox, Sony PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Throughout my career, I’ve worked on many games, earning credits in iconic titles like Mortal Kombat on SuperNES and Disney Infinity.

Outside of work and volunteering, my personal passions include new wave music, mountain biking, and retro computers—especially the Atari 8-bit system. It’s the computer I grew up with, learned on, and it’s led to lifelong friendships that I treasure to this day.
