Just trying to help

Since 2019, My wife, Suzanne, and I have been involved in volunteering with dachshunds, particularly through my dedicated service with the Rocky Mountain Dachshund Rescue. This journey has been incredibly rewarding, allowing me to contribute to the well-being of these wonderful animals and make a tangible difference in their lives.

My responsibilities with the Rocky Mountain Dachshund Rescue have been diverse and fulfilling. They have included tasks such as fostering dachshunds in need, providing temporary homes and care until permanent placements can be found. This hands-on experience has given me invaluable insights into the unique needs and personalities of dachshunds, as well as the challenges they may face in finding forever homes.

In addition to fostering, We have also been actively involved in fundraising efforts, events, and outreach programs organized by the rescue. These activities have not only helped raise essential funds for the organization but have also enabled me to raise awareness about dachshund rescue and responsible pet ownership within my community.

One of the most fulfilling aspects of my volunteer work has been witnessing the transformation of dachshunds under our care. From timid and neglected dogs to confident and cherished companions, seeing them thrive in loving forever homes brings immense joy and fulfillment to both myself and the entire rescue team.

Through my ongoing dedication to volunteering with dachshunds and the Rocky Mountain Dachshund Rescue, I am committed to making a positive impact on the lives of these incredible animals and promoting their welfare within our community.
